Warranty Information

In summary, we guarantee that our work will be performed in a competent and workmanlike manner, that all components we provide will be of quality and free from defects in materials and workmanship, and that we'll address most issues and concerns promptly so long as you correctly use and properly care for your shower door or mirror.

Glass & Hardware Components

We warrant our glass and hardware components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years from the date of installation, delivery, or pickup, as applicable. We'll repair or replace any faulty component subjected to normal conditions of use and handled and maintained in accordance with our care guidelines.

This warranty does not cover wear, such as staining, corrosion, or discoloration, nor damage in any part, such as scratches, dents, or shattering resulting from incorrect use, accidental damage, and improper care, or if the component or the space in which it's installed is altered.

Workmanship

We warrant our workmanship for 1 year from the date of installation. At our sole judgement, we'll address any issue with your shower door or mirror, such as misalignment, roughness, excessive water seepage, or squeaking.

Water Resistance

Frameless shower doors are designed to be water-resistant. Minimal water seepage can occur under normal shower conditions, similar to shower curtains. Shortcomings of the shower space, excessive water pressure, or directing the shower spray directly at seams or gaps of the enclosure can result in water seepage that is not covered by this warranty.

Supplementary Components

This warranty does not cover wear and tear of supplementary components, such as sweeps, seals, gaskets, and caulking. Servicing and replacement of these supplementary components is readily available for purchase from us and other vendors, or as part of our shower door service.

Disclaimer

Except for the Limited Warranty stated here, there are no express or implied warranties of any kind and no warranties of merchantability or fitness for particular purpose, and no warranty shall be implied by operation of law or otherwise. In no event shall Clairon be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, even if such damages are foreseeable and even if Clairon has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Clairon’s responsibility to provide a remedy under this warranty shall be limited to either a repair, the provision of a replacement, or a refund of the purchase price of the Component in question. The repair, refund or replacement shall constitute the limit of Clairon’s liability and obligation for any defect in hardware components, glass components, supplementary components, and workmanship. Clairon does not assume any responsibility beyond the cost of the original purchase. Our warranty is offered only to the original purchaser. The warranty may not be assigned or transferred to someone else, and terminates upon sale of the real property in which the Work has been performed. Clairon shall be the sole judge as to whether Components have been properly handled, cleaned, used, or maintained.

Filing a claim

To file a warranty claim, send us an email to team@clairon.glass, and we'll send you a form requesting the information required to report and detail the problem you're experiencing. We'll promptly address all valid claims. Please note that claims may be subject to our inspection and approval before a remedy is provided.
