What should I Consider for my shower door?

We recommend you have an idea of the result you'd like to achieve, and to think about everyday usability. This can include things like the layout of glass panels, or the type of glass they'd like to use. Having some pictures for inspiration is great. As professionals, we'll help guide your decisions and explain what goes into achieving the desired result.

What glass do you use?

We offer 3/8" and 1/2" thicknesses of clear, low-iron clear, frosted, low-iron frosted, tinted, and cast glass. Our glass fabrication is unparalleled, cut by numerical control, not by hand, and features a machine chamfered edge polish, resulting in pristine, precision-cut faces that are soft to the touch. All glass panels are tempered for your safety.

Are your shower doors frameless?

Yes. Our shower doors are completely frameless. Panels are held in place by low-profile clips, not u-channels, headers, side jambs, or bottom tracks.

What's the benefit to frameless shower doors?

Frameless shower doors are more aesthetic, given their sleek, minimalist appearance. In most renovations, the added home value of a frameless shower door is also a benefit. Frameless shower doors also require much less maintenance and are easier to keep clean, given that there's no metal framing to accumulate dirt or mildew.

What's the difference between framed and frameless shower doors?

Framed shower doors were the only option several years back, and what you'll find on older homes. It's typically comprised of thin glass that relies on its metal framing for rigidity. Frameless shower doors are the modern option, comprised of 3/8" or 1/2" glass held in place by low-profile hardware, resulting in sturdier, heftier glass structures.

Are your shower doors water resiStant?

Yes. Our shower door's water resistance is heavily dependent on the conditions of your shower space, such as the quality of tile work, and the layout of the space. We'll review these during your measuring appointment. You can also give us a call for special tips if you're renovating your shower space. A water-resistant shower door is further accomplished through our accurate sizing, fabrication, quality caulking, and purpose-designed rubber seals and wipes.

How do your shower doors compare to store-bought shower doors?

In the real world, most shower spaces aren't perfect, and store bought systems have a hard time conforming to anything else, being limited by little to no adjustability, and workarounds for a passable finish, like jambs and glass overlaps. Many will also attest to their flimsy build, thin glass, short life, and water leaks. Because our shower doors are made-to-size, they're an exact fit for your shower space, eliminating all the above, whilst featuring total customizability, heftier glass, and much simpler maintenance, should you ever need it.
